Volvo Regatta: Sunday and welcome home Green Dragon

We went back to the regatta yesterday to welcome home the Green Dragon, Ireland's entry into the Volvo Ocean Race. They came in fifth place! Given the competition, that's phenomenal. They are also one of only four teams to finish all legs of the race. Congratulations to the Green Dragon!

On the way to the pier, I tried to talk my husband into an early birthday present.

There were several entertainers on the pier.




Then the Green Dragon arrived!


It was a carnival like atmosphere.




A great day to be on the water.






A very fun afternoon and the weather was absolutely perfect!
